Introduction

This article has been in the making for almost 7 years!  I must confess that every time I’ve wanted to press the publish button I’ve thought of some other aspect of web design that I felt I needed to include while all the time realising the article was getting way too long and boring.  I must also admit that I was never entirely happy with how it flowed or, more precisely, how it didn’t flow.

Enter ChatGPT!  I’ve been using ChatGPT for almost a year now and it’s become a key part of my day-to-day workflow and quite why I have never thought of it before, I fed all of my articles into the AI bot and asked it to standardise on the structure & language, making it snappier and more readable while maintaining the key messages.

This article is not designed to be read through from start to finish, although you could if you wish but, rather it’s designed to be able to jump into topics and sections of immediate interest.  All I would add is, don’t skip some of the key sections because they present some awful truth or they just sound too hard.  I have marked what I consider to be the key content with a little lightning symbol to make navigation a wee bit easier.  Forgive me but, by its nature, I have repeated some important stuff in some sections so that they are not missed so please bear with me.
