// Cookie Policy
The shortest cookie policy you’ll read today.
UK PECR says we have to tell you about cookies and similar tech. So: here’s the lot. There’s no banner because there’s nothing to consent to.
Last updated: 14 June 2026
The short version
We don’t set marketing, advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies. We don’t use third-party ad-tech. We don’t need a consent banner because we don’t do anything PECR requires consent for.
If that ever changes, a real cookie banner will appear and nothing non-essential will run until you say yes.
What actually runs
Strictly necessary (no consent required under PECR reg. 6(4))
- Session / security cookies set by our hosting and framework to keep the site working, defend against abuse, and remember per-request state. No personal profile is built.
- Preference storage in your browser’s localStorage for things you actively choose (e.g. dismissing a banner). Stays on your device. Never leaves.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics that do not set tracking cookies, do not store an identifier on your device, and do not build a cross-site profile. Under ICO guidance this falls outside the cookie consent rules. If we ever switch to a tool that does need consent, you’ll see a banner before it loads.
Embedded third-party content
If we embed something from a third party (e.g. a video, a tweet, a CodePen), that provider may set its own cookies once you interact with their embed. We only embed when it’s editorially worth it, and we’ll flag the provider so you know who to look up.
Managing cookies anyway
You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time:
Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the site. Blocking everything else costs you nothing here, because nothing else is doing anything.
